Game Update -Dev Log #3


Hey! It's been a little bit but we have been working hard to bring many new changes. The changes we added include...


Items now are pulled towards you if you get close enough, and we added some new item sprites! (~Oooo sparkly~)



We've added a function that allows the player to return to the shop area regardless of where they are in the dungeon. The shop is freshly revamped with a new "Sell All" function to help get you back in the dungeon faster.  Also added are new upgrades to help you in the dungeon. The upgrades included are:

- Health Up (Increases your health by 1 to a max of 10 hit points.

- Increase Arrow Damage (Increases your arrow damage by 50% per damage upgrade)

- Increase Health Regen (Reduces the number of reflects needed to restore HP)

- Extra  Dash (As the name suggests, it gives the player an extra dash)

These are the upgrades we have for now but we intend to add more interesting upgrades in the future, so look forward to it!

When the player dies they no longer just get forced teleported out of the dungeon but offers this very nice death scene instead.

Lastly some small changes were made to the Slime and Spider enemies:

- (Slime) When the slime is in its retreat state long enough it flees the scene and no longer needs to be killed to move forward.

-(Spider) The spider enemy no longer retreats and instead shoots a web at the player if the distance between the spider and player is great enough. Otherwise the spider will just chase the player for as long as it has line of sight.
